Riverbound cares about protecting your privacy and we try to give you the flexibillity you need to protect your privacy both online and at our meetings,
parties and events. Because we care, we make every effort to minimize the amount of information we collect and store electronically. We have developed
this Privacy Policy to inform you about what information this site and our group collects, who may receive that information,
what we may do with it, and how long we keep it. We have made every attempt to make this policy as clear as possible; but if you have
questions about it, don't hesitate to contact us.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION:
We will not knowingly give out any information you submit to us to any third parties except in compliance with court orders presented by law
enforcement agencies. Your name, e-mail, phone number or address will not be sold or given to anyone. We will not
willfully lease or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties either.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT:
On this site your personal information is collected only through our electronic contact forms. Even then,
to help reduce spam, our Spam-Stopper forms NEVER send you email without your consent. The sole exception
to that rule is if you are an existing member who makes a payment to us with your PayPal account. This site uses
no applications or programs that gather personal information from your computer without your consent.
Information collected here is kept in our files only as long as needed to provide services to our visitors and
members.
Visitors are asked to give us contact information (e.g., your name [a pseudonym or scene name is acceptable].
and your email address) so we can reply to your inquiries, requests and suggestions. If you choose to join
our group, your email address can be added to our mailing list so we can notify you about upcoming events but
even that isn't done without your consent. If you decide to add your address to our listserv, it will be used
for no other purpose and you're free to remove yourself from our list at any time.
If you decide to attend any of our public meetings, private parties or other group events you will be required
to sign our liability release form and provide a copy of your driver's license or similar document that shows
your age and legal name. The identity information on your release form must match the details on your identity
document. Copies of your release form and identity document will be retained in our paper files. Information in
those files is considered confidential. As such, it is available only to our board or to law enforcement officers
who present a valid court-ordered search warrant.
